Progress Tracking
This is an explanation of the functionality of the progress tracking plug-in for our Client Relationship Management Module, another Reality Creations web based application to help you efficiently and professionally deal with your overseas property clients.

The Progress Tracking Plug-in allows you to manage clients who are involved in your overseas development projects. It allows you to assign deadline dates and notes to each client purchasing or funding a project. The Progress Tracking Plug-in allows you to manage your project in a very visual and intuitive way using an easy to understand traffic light system.

When you first enter progress tracking you are shown a list of all of the projects that you have created. This screen allows you to edit and delete your different projects.

On the left hand side is a live search box which allows you to search through your different projects so you can easily find the one you are looking for. If you click any of the projects, you will be taken to the projects summary page.

When creating a new project, we begin by entering the name of the project in the title box and pressing enter. If your project is similar to another project already held within the system, you may choose to add tasks from that project, saving yourself having to type in the same tasks again.

If you didn’t input the tasks in the correct order, or you imported tasks from a different project and need to re-arrange them, you may re-order the table and if necessary insert new tasks, using these controls located to the right of each row.

Each task can also be edited, so if you make a mistake you can click the edit button and change the default date and title of the task. The default date for each task will be used for all clients as standard, but you may enter a different dates for each task on a per client basis if you wish.

Once you have finished creating your project just click the submit button.

The project summary page will then be displayed. The next thing we need to do is add some clients to the project. To do this simply click on the add client button at the top of the page. This will then bring up the add client page, this allows you to select a specific group of clients from the Client Relationship manager to add to the project.

Once you have selected your group of clients, you can enter notes for each of them or modify their individual deadline dates for particular tasks. If you don’t have this information available right now, don’t worry as this information can be updated at any time.

Simply click the submit button to add the client to the project.

You will then be returned to the project summary page. You can now see that our selected clients have been added to the new project. There is a traffic light for each task. Initially these are set to red which means they haven’t been started, if you click one it will change to amber, which means in progress, and if you click it again it will change to green which means the task is completed. If you hover over any of the traffic lights, it will show the notes and deadline dates that you entered.

There are 2 buttons located in the top left of the grid, above the key which allows you to edit the tasks in the project, you are able to add new tasks or edit the default deadline dates.

The red cross button deletes the project from the system, you will first be asked are you sure you want to delete, so the project won’t be deleted if the you accidentally click it.

There is also a live search box in the bottom right which shows all of the clients that are in the project. This allows you to search for the client you are looking for, when you click the client you want you will be taken straight to the client edit screen where you can edit the client’s deadline dates and notes.

At the far right there are 3 buttons. The first button is to go to the client edit screen which allows you to change the notes and deadlines for each task.

The middle button takes you to the client actions page on the Client Relationship Management module. This is so you can easily add actions to the client if they are needed, such as following up a task that has passed its deadline date. Once you have added your actions you can click the Return which will then return you to the project summary page.

The third button is to delete the client from the project. When you click this a confirmation will come up to ask you if you are sure, so if the button is pressed by accident the client wont be deleted until you click OK.
